Welcome to my site!
Here lies a culmination of my years of experience as a Software Developer. I created this site to showcase my skills while learning Svelte along the way.
Design
The design is heavily inspired from working with the terminal. It’s a combination of Text-Based User Interface (TUI), Command-line Interface (CLI) and shell frameworks like Oh-my-Zsh. I also wanted it to feel more developer-centric over designer-centric like most portfolio websites so I took some cues from open source companies like charm.sh. That being said, I’m not a web designer but I’d like to believe I have an eye for a good UI/UX at the very least.
“Simple yet playful with animations”
As you browse through my other pages, you’ll notice some simple yet playful animations that I’ve came up with. I hope they’re not overly done haha. It’s also the main reason why I chose Svelte over React for this job because of its built-in effects and animations API. Svelte also boasts good developer experience so I wanted to finally find out what the fuss is all about!

Born and raised in the Philippines, I grew up fond of videogames like most programmers who later on took a slap from life and was hit with the realization that he needs to spend his time more wisely haha.
When I’m not programming, you’ll see me playing with my cats, Yeji and Bonito, dating my beautiful girlfriend, Erika, reading a book at a coffee shop, or hanging out with Urban Sketchers Manila. I love sketching outside these days. But pre-pandemic I used to be fond of marathons and all sorts of outdoor activities as well - that includes hitting the gym, joining Spartan races, and hiking mountains.
